Terrarium Starter Kit

Experience the excitement of creating your own tropical oasis. Our complete terrarium kit gives you everything you need to successfully build a small terrarium enclosure. We also have a large selection of terrarium plants and moss to help you bring your tropical jungle to life.

The enclosure 

15.1'' H x 11.8'' D x 9.4'' PET enclosure with a front and a top door. Each with magnetic locks to hold them closed.

Bark Background 

Pre sized natural looking, pet safe, bark backing to give your terrarium an Amazon backdrop appeal. 

LECA

LECA (lightweight expandable clay aggregate) base medium to provide proper drainage of your substrate and keep your terrarium healthy. 

Substrate 

Our custom Rare Plant Haven blend of substrate containing tree fern fiber, coco choir,  horticultural charcoal, worm castings and sphagnum moss. 

Light with UV

Lighting is an important element in a thriving terrarium/reptile enclosure. That's why we found the perfect light for our setup. It has a fully controllable light spectrum with several presets for various appearances and is fully automated. But that's not all. Most lights will give you RGB (red, blue, green) colors to make up the light spectrum. Our light also includes UV which is beneficial for reptiles and helps plants build up a resistance to pests.
